Peace Around the Corner
- PACE -
Alpe-Adria Peace Atelier
A peace salon series exploring the territories between mountain, border, and sea. A local peace initiative uniting people across the Alpe-Adria regions. A space for authentic encounters and co-creative collaborations across all sectors and disciplines.
An inquiry into memory, culture, listening, and peace across Carinthia, Slovenia, and the Northern Adriatic in Collaboration with GEOWÈ X SOL and local people.
Initial / Guiding Questions:
How can we live in peace and harmony together, among another and with our surroundings? How can this vision look like in practice? How can we embrace our differences and stay open, even in moments of discomfort or disagreement? How can we co-create conditions for collaborations that heal the past and build a future of care and kinship, moment by moment? How can we human beings cultivate the capacities required to remain human and what does it mean to be human?
In Collaboration with GEOWÈ
Research Maison for Coherence, Human Flourishing, and the Architecture of Peace
GEOWÈ is an independent house of inquiry exploring the conditions that allow human beings, communities, and cultures to flourish in an age of accelerating technological, social, and ecological transformation.
Through research, writing, Threshold Encounters, salons, sound inquiry, field observation, and place-based investigations, GEOWÈ studies coherence as a lived relationship between inner life, collective life, and the worlds we inhabit together.
Rather than offering solutions, GEOWÈ cultivates spaces for attention.
Rather than producing answers, it develops conditions for inquiry.
Its work unfolds through a growing collection of encounters, publications, editions, and cultural investigations exploring how peace, dignity, beauty, and human presence may become living architectures for contemporary life.
