Poem: Deep Sea Light

Recently I’ve been getting to know my emotions on a deeper level - diving to the bottom and seeing what they point to. An article on “Integration as Recognition” from Abigail Lynam, helped me to refresh my mind and open me up for recognizing resentment, fear, and doubt within me. I am now acknowledging them, becoming able to see them as lighthouses - pointing us homeward.

Deep Sea Light

Deep down the wavey Sea.

Agitated waters,

all too often, tend to flee.

Yet they move us every day.

What is it

that at the bottom there might lay?

In stillness, from the essence,

Courage we may drink,

Obscurity will gently sink.

Once hidden underneath plain sight,

Here it is, the little light

forever shining clear and bright.

Naked truth, finally revealed.

In Oneness,

Drop & Ocean - be resealed.

What is it, that at the bottom there might lay? Analog photo by Gina Gadischke 2023
